Less is More?

Afishionados,

Turns out that the drop down menu code I used on my site ended up being more of a pain in the ass than it was worth. I think it looked cleaner than a generic list, but I kept getting HTML errors whenever I tried to change ANYTHING within it. So, at least for now, it’s back to the basics. I need your input and opinions, please.

While checking out blogs, do you prefer the plain ol’ list ‘o shit type of blogroll or do you like things cleaner and fancier? I’ve always felt that long lists of links look bad, but they’re more practical than what I was using before. What have you found that works best for you guys?

Also, I had some weird stuff happen to some files on my server with regard to Old Fish and Lemonade’s template settings. If you notice anything out of the ordinary (well, template-wise, anyway) please post it here and I will attempt to fix it. (Please note, this also includes links to blogs. If I previously linked to you and suddenly do not, let me know.)

Thanks!

I see a lot of problems with your blogroll. Like the fact that one Smiling Infidel is not on it at all. :(

I prefer drop down menu lists for links, but I am too dump to figure it out.
That is why my blogroll eats up so much space on the side of Doom Cake.

    Congrats on whacking the bird.
I am setting next week on a giant road trip of at least 1200 miles and I will try and off a few feather monsters for you on the way.

Wonder what kind of scary birds live in the wastes of west texas?

Redroach: Thanks for killing any and all birds, buddy. Also I must say, I’m somewhat disappointed that you never commented about the raccoon picture I made for you.

I dont think its a mattr o prefrence, ol palski.

I think a “list o shit” is, by its very nature, MORE INVITIN than a pull-down menu. You see an entry on th list & get intrigued. You click on it.

Speakin fer myself, I rarely feel inclind to see whatll “pull down” in a pull-down menu.

    Stick wif th LIST.

I’m more a list guy. It puts it all out there instead of having to actually want to check it out to check it out. But that is just for the blogroll. The archiving is better as a drop menu.

My link looks fine on there ;-)
