The Fish turns one year old today. Thanks to everyone who’s read it from the beginning and to those who’ve just tuned in. It’s been an interesting ride and I’ve had a great time.

On other blogs, it appears customary to make an “anniversary post” little more than a collection of the writer’s favorite posts. Well, I’m not going to do that because almost all of my posts are frickin’ awesome.

Instead, I thought I’d take this opportunity to answer my #1 frequently asked question:

Why is your web site called “Old Fish and Lemonade?”

Now, where would the fun be if I just told you the answer? I can give you a hint, though. If I were looking for the answer to this question I’d first stop over at Tetherd Cow Ahead because, let’s face it, Old Fish and Lemonade is to Tetherd Cow Ahead as Frasier is to Cheers. On top of that, the Reverend Anaglyph gives folks FREE RANGE to his web site! Can you believe it!? FREE RANGE!!! You’d think it would be harder than that to search for “free range“, but no! And while you’re there, be sure to ask about his iggs.

And the second reason Old Fish and Lemonade is named so is because it makes for an awful acronym.
