Yes, I worked at The Ranch on ‘The Ring’. It was amazing. It’s a beautiful place, and the people there were some of the best I’ve ever worked with. And really nice guys too. I stayed at ‘The Inn’ which is on the property, in the Ingmar Berman Room. Heh!

anaglyph: Ha! I am only jealous of you because you live in Sydney. I, too, have seen the lightsabers in person. Lucasfilm had a lot of Star Wars stuff on display at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. They called the tour the Magic of Myth. They even had Apple Newtons available where you could listen to a self guided tour as you looked at everytying.

Am I to assume that you’ve been to Skywalker Ranch then? Any good stories?

Just to make you jealous - I saw the original light sabres once. They are on display in the ‘Big House’ at Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch up in Marin County. Yours is a pretty good hack.

High school teachers should be concerned about weapons in school. And there you were, trying to sneak one in as a sculpture for crying out loud. Shameless!
